Dog & Pet Friendly Campsite

We are a dog friendly campsite, however dogs & pets are only permitted at the campsite owners discretion. All dogs & pets to be on a lead AT ALL TIMES. Fouling anywhere on the campsite is strictly forbidden.

There are lots of walks for dogs along the Dorset Jurassic Coast. From Acton Field Campsite you can walk in fields and tracks to the coastal path, Dancing Ledge, Swanage Bay and the Purbeck hills. The town of Swanage is just 3 miles away. The Square & Compass at Worth Matravers also welcomes dogs.

Be courteous to other campers and keep dogs close and on a leash for their safety and the safety of others. Don't forget there are often wild animals around campsites and unpredictable situations can arise quickly.
